Margaret Saldaña is a native of Colorado, born in Denver and raised in southeastern Colorado. She has worked in higher education since 1985 and has been at UNC since 1990. Some of the UNC offices she has worked in include: The Provost’s Office, the Graduate School, Honors and the Life of the Mind Program, and the Center for Human Enrichment. Her knowledge and experience at UNC make her a valuable asset to the School of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies. Margaret has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UNC and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Performance and Change at Colorado State University. She is married and has one grown daughter and two grandchildren.

Orientation for
Fall 2008

The university is holding orientation sessions this summer for all transfer students, new freshmen, parents, and guests. The goal of orientation is to help students make the transition to being members of the university community.
